The Search For Love

We’ve spent some time along the road,

With grief and heartache as our load.

But travelling this place called life

Called down upon us too much strife.

And then, along that dusty trail,

Just out of sight, we saw the grail.

A reason to go forward, then

We started up our routes again.

We looked across into the eyes

That mirrored love, and such surprise

That, in this universe of life,

We’d found a husband, and a wife.
